We’re going to switch things up a little bit with this gelding. If you need the PERFECT all around, safe and sane guy, Chavo is the one for you. This guy is truly a unicorn to say the least, with the looks and brains to prove that.

Chavo is an 8 year old appaloosa gelding standing 15 hand tall. He has the kindest eye with a gorgeous mane and tail. He so spectacular that we can’t even put it into words!

This cool guy can be rode by all aged riders, he’s just that easy! Chavo will walk, jog, trot, and lope both directions with ease. Neck reins and moves off leg pressure very well. He loves to spend a day on a nice long trail ride. There is no care in the world about anything along the way with this one. He crosses anything you point him into or across, water, logs, ditches etc. Chavo has spent some time on a dude ranch in Colorado taking lots of different riders through the mountains. He has even been in a few parades, hauled to a few rodeos to see the sights as well so you can’t show him something he hasn’t seen!

We have roped the smarty on both the head and heel side and some live steers out of the box. He has been ranched on quite a bit, will always be there for you at the end of the day.
Chavo is always the first to greet you in the pasture, so have cookies ready! He jumps right into any trailer, self loads and unloads as he loves going places. Stands like a gentleman for the farrier and vet. You can shoe him or leave him barefoot.

Chavo is the perfect family gelding, he is very quiet and gentle so everyone can enjoy him.
