TAPROOT Strike Out is a very handsome gentleman’s field hunter type. He has quality gaits, balance and carriage, and a masculine head that get will look stunning in a wide, flat hunt bridle.

Homer’s dam, TAPROOT STRIKE THE BELL is by the Class 1 Irish Draught stallion, BRIDON BELFREY out of a VOLTAIR mare. She is an Approved IDSH with a Bronze Merit for jumping ability. She has produced some very nice foals for us, including 2019 IDHSNA Youngstock Champion, Taproot Rua Diamond, recently approved with her Bronze.

His sire, TAPROOT PRIME, while young, is producing foals with stellar movement, gentle personalities and a thoughtful nature. While a thorough assessment of Prime’s athletic ability has yet to be completed. He has shown scope and reflex through the jump chute and stamps foals with a balanced canter with plenty of suspension. His big hip and low stifle are proving dominant and improving carrying power.
