Jolene is a 9 year old grade mare. She is a gorgeous coal black color! Long thick mane and tail. Big shoulder and hip to her. She stands close to 15 hands tall. She is easy to catch, stands tied, tacks up well, great for the farrier, loads easy. 100% sound.
Jolene has been used for a little of everything. She has trail rode many miles of trails. She will cross water, logs, ditches, cricks with ease. She will go up and down any size hill nice and slow. She has a very laid back personality to make for an enjoyable beer drinking horse. She has been hauled to many overnight camping trips. Stands all night at the hitching rail with zero issues. She stalls good as well!

Jolene has a great start to all the fancy buttons. She is very soft in the face, breaks at the pole, collects well, side passes both ways, backs up easy, great stop to her, walk, trot, lopes both directions, takes her leads every time. She has hauled to several play days and barrel jackpots! She would make a jam up gaming horse with just a little more work! She has your typical mare sass with penning her ears going into a lope but it’s all just a bluff of hers.

Jolene has also been used to check fences, gather cattle, and sort pairs. We have not tried to throw a rope off of her but I’m sure she would pick up on it easy!

Jolene is an extremely nice mare looking for her next rider to take her even further in life. She is a very nice beer drinking trail horse but shows lots of potential to be an awesome barrel/rope horse! She would be best suited for an intermediate rider due to her being soft in the face and quick on her feet. She does not have a mean bone to her and has never bucked, reared, kicked, or bit.
She is current on coggins, dental, farrier, and wormer.
