At only 3 year old Aster is already a solid trail horse, very trustworthy, quiet and sane. She has the looks and she has the brains. She’s a registered Drum, part Gypsy and part Shire. https://youtu.be/FZvMN9oKvGo Aster is very confident, brave and sweet. She’s a true love bug, very personable and always ready to come out and play, she walks right up to me in a 20 acre pasture! Aster rides and drives. I spent most of the time riding her on the trail or in an open pasture, she also drives! she’s been driven single and started in a pair. She is very brave and is happy to cross water, bridges, go over obstacles ( even teeter toter), carry the flag, walk over tarps, drag the sled in the snow, will walk by a riding lawn mower with no spook, I phased by leaf blower, not spooked by traffic either, and any new thing you throw at her. She also lays down when you asked her to! Stands to be mounted ( at the block or from the ground), stands for the farrier and for bathing, ties and cross ties, can pony other horses on trail, can open and close a gate off of her, rides in front, in the back, in a group and I even take her out alone. I was planning on keeping her till next summer and finish her in the arena ( have to take it slow with such a youngster) but I’m 8 months pregnant ( yes still riding her, as I really trust her) and sadly won’t have time for her this coming winter/ spring. She has a solid start and has been exposed to a lot already for her young age, started right and slow, she’s a superstar!
