Buyer cannot live in Western WA due to severe allergies to our insects. See below. Mystique is registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse and Sporthorse International registry and includes DNA Marker Report. She is the sweetest mare ever and is very smart (she learns things very quickly). She stands & behaves for farrier/vet, takes dewormer without issues, works great on the lunge line, & is trained to stand by mounting block. She loads and hauls perfectly. Baths & clips (she is a water baby & plays in the sprinkler). She is 16.1 hands high and weight about 1200 pounds. She is a pretty easy keeper. She has no issues with sprays for grooming or fly sprays. She stands in cross ties and on trailer. Has been trained under Western rider walk/trot/canter but is still green. Has been out on a few trail rides and was PERFECT with no spooking at all. She just wanted to explore. She is a pretty easy keeper. Mystique can no longer live in Western WA due to allergies to insects in this area. Wintertime, she is okay but summer she is ravaged by insects, and she has severe itchy reactions. So much so that she contorts herself to bite and rub pulling out her hair and her skin off on her belly. She does not welt up at all but the bites make her itchy. She has been on weekly allergen shots (shots are under the skin and I can go out to the pasture without halter to give her the shot) since Nov 2021. For the last 2 years, I have tried everything to 1. repel the insects, 2. to get rid or reduce of the insects, and/or 3. to stop her from itching so that she is more comfortable. Nothing has worked and she is miserable during the Summer. Her belly gets so bad that I must doctor daily due to loss of hair & skin. THEREFORE, I have made the most difficult decision to do what is right for Mystique and let her go to an area that does not have our insects. Mystique was born near Yakima, WA. and she spent the first 5-6 years there with no allergy issues at all. She came to Western WA. in May 2020 and the allergy issues became apparent in August of 2020. I spent the next year trying every product and suggestion out there. I finally took her to a specialist for allergy testing and she tested positive for every insect on the West side of the mountains. We started allergen shots soon after and she has been on weekly shots every since. Requirement – CANNOT LIVE IN WESTERN WA. Included – Registration papers, all medical records including allergy testing documents/pictures, one flysheet from Ireland that was purchased for this special need, one pair of Renegade boots in RED, and any picture/video I have, if desired. Email me for photos and/or video.
