Addy is a 12 yr old registered APHA proven brood mare that is broke to ride with a nice walk, jog/trot, and lope/canter. She has been basically turned out for about 2 yrs, but with more miles and consistent riding she will make someone a great horse. I can put beginners on her but she does better with a more confident rider. The video is recent and she has only been ridden about twice in the last 6 months, so that is what she is like being plucked fresh from the pasture and out of shape. She is pretty much the same horse whether you ride her 1x a year, 1x a month, or 1x a week. I bred her about 5 years ago and discovered her superpower is being an amazing mama, she took on the first try via artificial insemination and had no issues during pregnancy and foaled a beautiful tobiano filly. She loved being a mama and would be happy popping babies out all day long if that is what you decide to do. Breed her one year, ride her the next! She is a super easy keeper, she does great year round outside without a blanket or in the barn with her blanket on. She is mid to low in the pecking order when turned out with others. She has rock solid bare feet, up to date on shots/teeth, clips, bathes, and hauls (although she really hasn’t been trucked around much). She was my daughters horse but she is going in another direction and so here we are. I love this horse and want to find a person that can give her the time and attention she deserves. I have owned her for 11yrs (hopefully that tells you how easy she is to keep!) and she is truly a find for the right person.
