Goose is a once in a lifetime draft cross gelding! He’s absolute gentleman and as handsome made as one could ever hope to find. He’s big, weighs 1300 lbs, 15.1 and growing. This good looking grullo gelding isn’t just unique is color, but really is one of those horses we’ve all dreamed about owning. As nice as he is on the outside to look at, he’s even better on the inside. He’s gentle, kind, forgiving, but has funniest personality one could hope to have in a partner. He’s very easy on the eyes loping circles in the arena under a western saddle or would look just as good under an English attire. Goose rides quieter, and with more composure than most geldings 3Xs his age. He’s one that has the best ground manners and will stand as long as you need. It’s fun to watch how gentle and quiet he is when little ones groom and lead him around. He’s incredibly patient and will do whatever you ask. If you want to ride him bridleless and bareback out in the pasture he’s great for it.
He is also one that is willing to put the work clothes on, head out and do a job on the ranch, whether it’s in the branding pen or good hard day’s work gathering cattle. He’s the best to ride, smooth, soft handle, nice stop and easy to ride. He’s big footed and holds up to any challenge
He is easy to catch, loves to greet you, and loves being your friend. Goose has been desensitized to almost anything you can imagine, tarps, plastic bags, whips, balls, dogs, little girls on the segways or whatever else there is that might look strange to a horse. He’s ALWAYS the talk of the town wherever you go, due to his gentle giant personality, looks, and calm demeanor. He has great potential to Go English and go do some flat work, or use him as your next big Fox Hunting Friend. No matter what you decide Goose always aims to please. He has carried flags and catches everyone’s eye and emotions. Everyone notices this horse no matter where you are. He’s that kind that will stands out no matter what crowd you’re in. He has all of the dark points and is beautifully contrasted with his white socks. Goose is a true gentle, friendly, loving type gelding, loves attention and wants to please you anyway he can. He’s the best, and favorite in the barn. We couldn’t be more privileged and proud to offer and to have spent the time we have with him.
