This is a big stout mare that I bought several years ago to use as a broodmare. I bought her broodmare sound only as she is lame in front left foot. Previous owner kept shoes on her because one hoof has a permanent crack. I have left her barefoot the five years that I've owned her. She does have a limp but gets around fine in the broodmare band. I doubt if she was ever broke to ride. Other than that, she has always been healthy, and I raised four healthy foals out of her. I'm keeping her two-year-old filly for a personal riding horse. This mare is open to breed to stud of your choice. I didn't breed her back because it was getting late in the year. She should breed back with no problem. If I have her in the spring, I will be breeding her to a palomino stallion. She is halter broke, stands tied, loads in trailer, stands for the farrier. Up to date on worming and trimming. I have retired from work and cutting down on breeding horses. My interest ls in camping and trail riding now. If you want to produce a performance baby for show or pleasure, this mare will do it. She is by the number one APHA leading sire in all divisions of halter and performance.
