.Luke has been an amazing horse to bring along. I feel truly grateful for the experience. I bought him when he was 2 years old from the breeder and backed him last year when he was 5. He took to the training like he was bred for it :). All lateral work in walk, trot and canter, counter canter, green flying changes. Diagonalization (start of Piaffe). Beginning Medium gaits. Luke is very good on trails and works for me occasionally as a lesson horse. I competed him in Working Equitation this fall: Level 3 first day, Level 4 the second. First place both days. Highest percentage award for the show. Luke is not suitable for the modern sport of dressage way of riding. He ends up not going forward for people demanding "contact" with their hands. He is not bred or trained for it. The way he is trained is Manuel Oliveira's "Vertical" and Josh Nichol's Relational Horsemanship. Priority is on balance, mental and physical. Connection and understanding, dignity and joy. If you're looking for a horse like that, keep reading.... Luke lives out in the herd on free choice grass or hay, always barefoot. No supplements or medications. He does not have clean x-rays of his hocks. (available to view) I have not changed his training in any way since I found out on a PPE in the spring of 21, he works as hard as my other horses. He seems ok with it, lots of energy, keen to try anything I ask, developing collection and power. Luke is very special to me, he was a scrawny colt and I didn't even see the potential that he's growing into now. I want a home for him where he's appreciated. more pictures here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.102873325956979&type=3 Delivery/export to the US available. phone by appointment only please email/text anytime: Zuzana 1-306-240-9518 zuschramm@hotmail.com
