Josie Joe Jackie, a 2010 Pitzer Ranch mare out of Two Eyed Jack line. Josie is a bombproof, confidence builder who excels with beginner riders or riders who want to enjoy the trails without worrying about bucking or spooking. She is a kind, gentle horse with a rock-solid, steady mind. She's taught both of our daughters how to ride Western and English. This horse hauls by herself to events with confidence. She is bombproof and sure-footed on the trail and in the arena. Nothing fazes this horse, whether it's noisy traffic or being surrounded by a herd of galloping elk. She's been by herself at our daughter's school opening day ceremonies, carrying the school flag and being pet and loved on by hundreds of kids. She loved every minute of it.
Josie is healthy, sound, maintenance-free and has been barefoot trimmed every 6 weeks her entire life. She's never needed shoes or boots on the trails. She's easy to catch and will come right up to you in the pasture. She's also easy to bathe (loves the attention), easy to load, and travels like a champ.
Josie has been well-cared for her entire life and has been with our family since she was 3 years old. The only reason we're selling is because our 14-year-old daughter is transitioning into reining and is ready for a horse with more motor. This in-your-pocket mare is a dream horse. She's pretty, well-bred, kind, and ready to build your confidence in the arena or on the trail. She would excel in western pleasure with her slow, rocking horse lope or in trail classes with her inquisitive and confident personality.
