Vegas is a 13 year old registered Quarter Horse standing at 16.2hh. He was bred and trained to show professionally, and boy is he gorgeous! About 6 years ago he had an injury to his lower front leg which has left him with substantial scarring and arthritis in his fetlock/pastern. He has been x-rayed, vet checked and farrier checked and he is SOUND. He has limited mobility in that joint so he does best with being ridden at a walk or trot. While he can no longer be shown or ridden extensively, he still has a lot of life left in him. Due to his past he loves a good barn, stall and indoor arena. However we keep him turned out 24/7 and have been using him for light trail ridding, and he does great. Very calm demeanor (even when the other horses are acting up), trailers beautifully, and let's you do pretty much anything. Been there done that kind of horse and nothing seems to spook him. I would love to find him his forever home where he can be loved and spoiled for the rest of his retirement. Does great with kids, other horses, and dogs. Vet checks welcome at buyers expense.
