Beauty is a 12yo 14h pony mare available to the best of homes. She is a fun, forward pony with great brakes who is up for anything. In the four years we have owned her she has done dressage, evented up to Starter level, excelled at pony racing, done pony club, loved hunter paces, done jumper shows, gone swimming, mock hunted, taught kids to canter, and trail ridden all over. She is now sadly outgrown and has become our extra pony here. She prefers not to jump over 2'3", which is why she is now available. While she has safely and happily carried our kids throughout many adventures we feel she is best matched with an adult who wants to enjoy a bit of everything or concentrate on her real talent of dressage. She is safe for a beginner who can balance- she is forward but easily comes back when asked. She has low miles and has been well cared for. She is the easiest keeper- barefoot, only gets a ration balancer with her free choice hay, can be out on grass if kept in shape, neat in her stall, easy on the ground, easy around dogs, goats, & other horses. She will be greatly missed here and will go with a first right of refusal contract as we would like to know where she is. Possibly open to a longer term (2+ year) lease.
We are located a bit out of the way for most horse people (southwestern PA) so we are willing to deliver her within five hours of zip code 15301 for a trial to a promising match, with a contract.
