Teak is a 10 yr quarter gelding used primarily for trail riding. He is comfortable going in front or behind other horses. He would do best with a intermediate to advanced confident rider to continue his training as he has primarily been used only as a trail horse. I have started him on natural horsemanship training and he has an excellent mind and is a quick learner. He came off a ranch in Texas and needs a person to call his own to bring out his personality. Life circumstances force the sale of this horse as we have only had him a short time, but he has fit into our herd easily. He gets along with others without fighting, trailers, barefoot hoof care, ties. Since he seems to have been ridden with others all the time, he is little unsure when by himself, that is why I suggest a confident rider that can continue his training. Teak is a blank slate just waiting for someone to make him into something special.
