Carats is a 13.2 hand 12 year old pony mare. She’s the complete pony package and will make a perfect step up pony (or lead line) for any peewee rider. Carats is quiet, lovable and a joy to be around. She’s completely ready to go in any speed events. She is hauled to weekly barrel and poles lessons where my 7 year old son has been riding her. She rides safely around property with my 7 year old and I myself have taken her on many trail rides she enjoys very much. She is also broke to pull a cart but we have just never done it before. We love her, she’s been a blessing to our family the past to 2 years the only reason she’s for sale is my daughter needs a step up horse. Carats is up to date on everything stands for farrier, loads, trailers, and everything just fine. She’s the same pony every where you take her and has never spooked one’s. We’ve had no soundness issues she requires no maintenance. This past year we had to remove her left eye do too chronic infections. We tried repeatedly to treat her eye to save it but it was never going to get better. That has not stopped her one bit and she’s been the happiest pony since we had it removed. We’ve been in no rush to sell her and she will continue to be ridden by my son and daughter tell we find the right family for her. Please feel free to ask any questions.
