Cruz is ready to move to a higher level in endurance, dressage and/or sport horse competition. He is well balanced with correct conformation and a friendly, willing disposition. His natural collection and beautiful movement make him an excellent dressage / sport horse prospect. This horse has a ton of high-performance potential and the flash to always get him noticed! Cruz also has a solid foundation in endurance, having successfully completed 275 LD miles and 200 endurance miles. He goes down the trail on a loose rein and is light and responsive in a snaffle, S-hackamore or bosal. He guides nicely with just seat and legs. Out on the trail, Cruz does well in a group of horses and he doesn’t challenge the lead horse or follow too close. He will lead or go on his own too, and is careful and easy to rate. He has a soft-as-butter mouth, great feet, clean legs and is an easy-keeper. He eats and drinks well out on trail (actually he always likes to eat!) and is calm in ride camp and while loading/traveling. He has great ground manners, and is easy to handle and vet at rides. Cruz was bred by the highly-respected breeder, Kenlyn Arabians, who have produced outstanding endurance and show Arabians. And raised and started by well-known endurance and sport horse trainer, Kerry Redente. His dam, Sacred Rendezvous, produced several highly-successful endurance horses including Kenlyn Sacred Night, who completed Tevis. Cruz is planning to be at the Moab Canyons Endurance Ride (Utah) in October https://mickeysmt.wixsite.com/moabenduranceride/moab-canyons-ride Come and meet him!
