Sonny Dee Jack or “Dan” is a big (15.3), flashy, 2017 registered red roan gelding. Dan is a head horse prospect that would make a nice ranch horse. He has spent 90 days in professional training on the head side with Cody Mora in San Miguel, CA. Dan still needs finishing though and someone looking to head off of him should be an experienced rider and header. He does tend to get a little squirrelly in the box (swings his butt out) after running a few, so that’s where more work and training will be needed by someone more experienced because he doesn’t do it with the trainer. :) Does great in the field and shuts right down on his way to and from the catch pen. Dan has also been used to gather cattle and really takes to it! He’s nice to ride in the hills and is not buddy or barn sour. He has been easy to haul and hard to spook. If I could afford to keep him as a ranch horse, I would but we have too many already. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. NO SCAMMERS!
