After playing all spring and summer with Miss Malibu on trails, trail obstacles and ranch riding, I have once again decided as much fun as I have with this mare I dont hanve the time and she is too talented and sweet to be on my back burner....So here she is in all her golden glory looking for her lucky person! LJ Sadakat Moon or "Malibu" is a GORGEOUS 11 year old Registered Arabian x Quarter Horse mare. Standing at 15hh this girl has it all; beauty, brains and athletic ability to boot! Malibu spent the first 6 years of her life in Idaho and successfully competed in LD endurance rides. She spent the next few years as a pleasure trail horse and now the last year doing it all! She has been ridden western and english; been camping in the mountains, exposed to cows, shown dressage, english pleasure, western pleasure and Working Equitation as well as gallavanting on the beach. She is a fun ride W/T/C, and can leg yield, shoulder in, hauches in, sidepass and do her forehand and haunch turns. Bathes, clips, ties and loads/hauls wonderfully. She has fantastic ground manners and is the sweetest girl in the barn. She is currently barefoot and has great feet. Up to date on her vaccines, deworming. She gets along great with other horses (middle of the pecking order) and is currently stalled at night and out in the field with other horses during the day. She can be as sweet as pie, and will run up from the bottom of the field to meet you and snuggle. Loves to be groomed and loved on. Malibu has lot of energy and can go for days. Due to her energy and sensitivity she needs an experienced rider, she is not suitable for kids at this time. This girls was breed to work and it a powerhouse! she can occasionally get a bit hot with that being said, in the right hands, the sky is the limit with this girl! No bad behavior, just a sassy girl sometimes. She has the talent to be finished almost any direction. I personally think she would really excel in working western (Reining/Ranch Riding) events or could return to the competitive trail world. For questions please call I'm an open book and want the very best home for this special girl.
