This charming 10-year-old ¾ Andalusian gelding is destined to be your next up and coming Working Equitation Star! A beautiful bay, Tonal stands 15.1 hands tall and is currently schooling First Level Dressage, with some Second Level movements. Professionally trained and shown in Halter and Pleasure Driving Classes at USEF recognized IALHA shows in California by Howard Peet as a 2-year-old, Tonal went on to be started under saddle at the Clinton Anderson Academy Horse Program in Stephenville, TX. Tonal was then sold by his breeder and moved to Montana where he spent the next 5 years riding out on the trails in Bob Marshall Wilderness and doing some Western Dressage, including schooling shows at Basic Level, and was introduced to Working Equitation. Tonal is now in Gig Harbor, Washington where he continues his training in Dressage and Working Equitation with Jordan Banks. Check out his sales video to see him in action the very first time Jordan rode him on the Working Equitation obstacles! Tonal also LOVES Liberty Work, which makes a nice compliment to his training program. While he is generally very easy going and not "spooky," Tonal is Iberian and can move quickly when inspired, so is not the ideal mount for a beginner or timid rider. Tonal will thrive with a confident intermediate or more experienced rider who is sensitive to the horse and who wants to develop a true partnership. Tonal is super fun, has a huge personality and loves a job! With the right rider he will become a Working Equitation Superstar, which is what we'd love to see for him! Price will increase with training, so don't miss your opportunity to meet this developing talent now! Tonal is double registered with the IALHA Half-Andalusian Registry and the AMCCRA as an Azteca B. He is also Lifetime Recorded with the USEF. Contact Jordan today for more information on this stunning boy! Thanks to DP Saddlery LP and Select Saddlery, sales video features Jordan riding Tonal in the "Jerez SKL" Baroque Saddle in Black and Aspen Tobacco.
