Touchdown Premo, a.k.a. “Biggs” is a Registered 3-year-old Quarter Horse, currently standing at 15.2 hands and is expected to finish out at about 16 hands. His sire is the 8x AQHA World Champion and 5x Quarter Horse Congress Grand Champion, “PF Premo”. Biggs was bred by JL Robinson Quarter Horses in Ohio, who specialize in athletic, performance type Quarter Horses. His mother is TD N Lace, making Biggs eligible to be double-registered as an APHA. Biggs has a sweet, friendly personality, loves attention, and has a very “in your pocket” personality. He’s been chiropracted regularly to ensure that he is growing properly, handled twice a day minimum, and stands nicely on the crossties to be groomed, bathed, blanketed, and feet cleaned. He is mostly perfect for the farrier but does snatch occasionally, as babies will do. Biggs loads easily on the horse trailer and we are currently working on self-loading. I have lunged him very lightly (no more than 10 minutes, once to twice a week maximum). I personally don’t start babies until they are at least 3 years old to give them the best future for a sound, productive life, with their longevity in mind. Biggs was gelded spring 2020, but his papers haven’t been updated yet. He is SMART and brave, but he’s also a big sweet baby so he is low-man in the herd. Sound with no vices, a PPE is welcomed and encouraged. Non-symptomatic HYPP N/H, Four-panel negative. Biggs is priced reasonably as I am making room for an older dressage horse, and my husband told me I have to sell two of the four youngsters before I get the additional horse. I believe that Biggs will be a wonderful, all-around horse, probably most suitable for Ranch Versatility type events, as well as Western and English Dressage. ***Biggs is now at the trainer’s being started.
