This horse is a DREAM to work with and ride! Ackie is a 9 y/o TB gelding that looks, feels, and acts like a warmblood. Completely restarted by a junior rider, he’s been off the track for a few years and would make a lovely dressage mount for an amateur or junior rider! He LOVES to trail ride and is happy hacking out alone and in company. Easy on the ground and under saddle. Equal amounts of whoa and go. Clips, ties, bathes, loads, hauls, etc with ease. Has a tail that puts my warmbloods' to shame! Selling as his junior rider really wants to do the jumpers, and Ackie has shown us over the last couple of years that it’s just not his discipline of choice. Has traveled and shown quite a bit with his owner (eventing, H/J), a complete gentleman to travel with. Selling strictly as a dressage/pleasure/trail mount, he has no desire to jump and does not need to be put into a home that will try to fit a square peg into a round hole. (He did enjoy XC and could possibly enjoy some hunter paces in his new home). Cribs but can be controlled with a collar. UTD on all farrier, dental, and veterinary work. Gets regular massage and PEMF.
