Spirit is a good beginner horse for walk/trot. She is sound to canter but she needs encouragement to canter. She can be ridden with just a halter or a simple snaffle. She is not a barrel horse unless you are doing walk/trot introduction. She has been used as a camp horse and is quite happy being ponied. She does not like a lot of weight on her back so a small adult or child would fit her the best. She will cross tie, stands for the farrier, loads easily on a trailer and will stand for hours while being brushed. Last year she had her annual teeth floating, and shots.
