Sonny is a smart and friendly Tennessee Walking horse looking for skilled rider that will ride him consistently. He is grandson to Oly Smokes and Miss Melody Maker. Sonny has a big, showy walk. Sonny loves people and has a great personality. He has excellent ground manners and has been learning liberty commands. He is easy to handle and quick to respond. Under saddle, Sonny has a big walk and a lot of energy. He wants to go! He has experience on trails, obstacles and arena work. He enjoys human interaction, and requires consistent attention and work. He is smart and needs to be engaged regularly. I have had him since his birth, but cannot keep up with a consistent riding schedule for him. He needs a human that will saddle him up several times a week and take him out on riding adventures. He is brave and not spooky, he likes to be the lead horse, but can also be in the back of the group. He is sensitive and smart and can take advantage of a meek rider, but with a skilled and confident rider he is respectful. He would make an excellent endurance prospect.
