Aurora is a 7yo Quarter Horse halter (possible cross) mare looking for a person of her own. She has good ground manners and hauls like a dream. Very sweet demeanor that needs an intermediate rider or above. She does like to work and does best in a steady program. I would still consider her on the greener side but very willing to learn. She rides english western and bareback. Aurora is 14.1 hands and offers 3 lovely, floating gaits. She was sold to us as a jumper, but also excels and shows natural talent for dressage. She is smart and willing to learn and offers a lovely dressage frame. She comes into contact nicely but prefers a light hand and light contact. She goes on contact or a loose rein. She is sensitive to the riders aids and seat. Aurora has fantastic brakes and transitions and a soft mouth. Aurora lunges well and follows you around on the ground. She takes a little time to warm up to new riders in the saddle, but give her a chance and she will open up to you. She likes baths and stands to be ground tied and is currently UTD on shots and barefoot. She loads onto the trailer and travels well to new places. She has no known health issues. She does not currently cross tie. Can live in or out, lowest on the pecking order. In your pocket personality. She is currently in training & has been in a program for the past 4 months. Finding her person is our top priority, $6000. Located in South Park, PA. Updated jumping videos available. Aurora has jumped up to 2'6 singles, finds her striding nicely on her own, and moves/jumps more like a horse then a pony! Aurora has been working on simple changes and shoes natural ability for flying changes. She has been ridden by several intermediate child riders and does well with them with a trainers help. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MAo9GFpYH-k&feature=youtu.be
