Smoothie is everything that you could possibly want in a yearling colt. NOTE: He has been gelded. So that part is already done for you! He has had vaccinations, he's had his feet trimmed, he's current on deworming. His AQHA papers are in hand. Everything is done.
Smoothie has been through an extensive "Baby boot camp" program. He is a champion at being caught, leading, standing tied, picking up his feet...all the baby basics. He has been introduced to basic ground work, such as moving off, moving hip, moving shoulder, backing up and just all-around manners. He is respectful and calm about all of it.
His sire's pedigree speaks for itself, but I'm all about the mare. Smoothie's Mom is a wonderful mare that had been used as a 4-h mount for kids. She is a beautiful mover and has just the kindest disposition.
If you believe in the string test, Smoothie measures 16" from coronet band to the center of his knee, so 16 hands at maturity.
This is a lovely gelding and he truly wants to be your friend.

A straight up, beautiful mover. Correct, flat kneed, tight little jogger! Natural lift in his shoulders. Great top line that gets better every day. And look at that long, elegant neck! Nice feet, too!! This is a mid April colt, so like 14.5 months old. He's been lightly on a lunge line, but not a "lunge liner". He is so good, light and responsive. He knows where the end of that line is and he's not gonna cross it. Wouldn't take much to get him ready for some fall lunge line classes. This colt just gets better by the day! Here's one to have some fun with!!
