Skippers Scarface 2012 Appaloosa Gelding (Pacino)
Measured 15 hands and approximately 1170 Pounds. This gelding is conformationally made to last cinches deep- short strong back with neck to match, big hip with low set hocks, solid bone, clean legs, and big balanced feet.
Pacino is a great horse to be around with a kind easy to get along with demeanor, he eats and drinks on the road and travels like a gentleman. He has traveled all over the country and hauls quietly and settles quickly wherever you put him. He will stand patiently tied all day without fuss.
He has great manners and is reliable for any level to handle and ride.
He stands politely to groom and saddle. He never acts fresh after periods of time off and is happy to ride anytime. Pacino is fond of people and likes to please, his primary value is he is safe and reliable. He is fine with traffic and even been ridden through town. He is a top pick to win roping’s on either end, trail ride or brand/work/gather/ship cattle on he is confident and sure footed.
He is great for the farrier and easy to have around. In the arena he has all the buttons and is a pleasure to ride, he is willing to move with little to no effort from the rider he collects nicely and has a comfortable lope. He can jog slow or long trot effortlessly. Does not require tons of warm up to work well to rope on.
The benefit of having a safe dependable horse is beyond compare. Pacino was rock solid on our most recent trip to Wickenburg AZ, then onto the South Point in Vegas proudly earning over 30,000.00 in winnings heading and heeling. Pacino handled the busy arenas and atmosphere like the champion he is. Calm and composed.
Solid in the box, effortlessly runs to the hip while reading - rating slower cattle, no need to rush to dally and facing to get a good flag.
Pacino was purchased from a lower number roping friend, my goal was to fine tune his training and win on him in the richest team roping event in the world the WSTR finale. We accomplished that goal in the 12.5 Finale and now he is ready to go on and win with someone else, my heading number is a 6+ and my Heeling number is 8. Honestly, he would be a lower number ropers top pick. I enjoy roping and buy a few horses each year to increase their value and sell I am proud to offer this horse.
Pacino is completely sound. He is suitable for any level rider, his willingness to please is hard to find.
Pacino has no vices and does not have unpleasant habits or a past of mishandling.
