Free Flayme, 2016 16hh TB gelding sired by Uncaptured. Flayme had a successful racing career retiring clean and sound with no vices. He's an athletic guy that will undoubtably excell in his next career wherever it takes him. He's a lovely mover with a lot of reach through his shoulder and quite an eye grabbing trot. Down the jump chute he showed equally as nice form, was brave, tidy and smart to a fence! He's an intelligent guy that picks up new things quickly. Flayme does everything in the barn as he should and is easy to handle, good to turnout, well mannered with the farrier (shod up front only), stood stock still for clipping, crossties, bathing, hauling etc, you'll be hard pressed to fault him. He has been let down and lightly restarted under saddle walk trot canter, he has an auto change and more recently was started over fences. Very hunter type under saddle, comfortable and has a nice balanced canter. He’s been started over him some poles and little cavalettis and he did well! He quickly figured it out and was cantering out quietly. Amateur friendly, he would be fine for an intermediate rider + working under a trainer and an ideal candidate for someone looking for their first restart. He’ll go along on a loose rein or you can put him together easily. I think a teen or adult ammy wanting an all around, safe partner to bop around on would have a fantastic time with Flayme! They just don’t come much easier than this guy, he’s super fancy, cute, quiet and just ticks all the boxes.
