Maverick is a 4 year old APHA gelding standing at 15.1 hands. Very sweet personality, easy going, and a joy to have in the barn. Beautiful long mane that is down to his shoulder and flashy markings for days! You will not find another like him.
On the ground he is a sweetheart, stands quietly, ties to the wall, stall and cross ties.
Good for bathing, farrier, vet, and dentist. LOVES to be groomed, will fall sleep when you braid his mane.
Maverick goes English and western. Very easy ride. Has a lovely w/j but would need finishing at the lope other than that his w/t/c are there. His gaits are very comfortable and you can sit his trot for days. Hacks out quietly, has been on trails. Been over bridges and through water. I’ve even used him to pony horses.
He could excel as a great all around prospect. He has been used in our lesson program. I have had beginners on him but would recommend someone that is able to finish his training or has a trainer (due to him being young). He is currently being ridden by an adult amature as well as pro rides. He is so easy to get along with!
No vices, good in the stall, can live in or out.
He had a clean PPE when he was purchased.
