“Mosey” is an 11 year old golden palomino gelding that stand 14.3 hands tall and weigh every little bit of 1250lbs! This guy shines like 14 carrot gold in the sun and is built like a mac truck! He’s as correctly built as they come! Not only is Mosey handsome he’s also a complete prince to be around and is a pleasure to ride! Mosey is soft, kind eyed and has an affectionate disposition that speaks for it self!
This is one of the nicest, most honest horses that we have ever had the pleasure of offering. He is always our first pick whenever a new rider would come to ride because we knew that we could trust him to be solid and sane. Mosey has spent some time on the ranch doing all aspects of ranch work from checking fences, sorting pairs, roping, and putting in a full day’s work without complaints. We have hauled him all over the place and no matter where we go, he comes off the trailer and ties quietly to the trailer while you get ready to go out. Mosey has been ridden by so many different riders and everyone gets along with him. He has great transitions and a very good stop and a correct turnaround. Mosey will go from a lope to a trot or walk with just your seat. He has been on so many trail rides, to solo outings to very large group trail rides in very difficult terrain. He has also carried flags at events and goes through water from creeks, rivers, and steps in the puddles without a worry. Mosey goes over bridges and is easy going in traffic.
