Pongo has had the BEST upbringing and training from the start! Foaled in Canada and brought back to the US, he has enjoyed trail riding in McCall, Idaho, up steep rocky mountainous terrain. At age 5 he went to his second home where he learned the Parelli games, took many swims in a lake, learned how to smile and jump. His canter is very smooth, he is proficient on his leads. He has been schooled many times on a cross country course with water and ditches. He basically just loves being messed with. He was taught all of these things by a 14 yr old girl. He went to a few jumping shows while in Idaho. After 2 years, Pongo made his way to Washington, where he is now, to a wonderful teenage rider who works with a trainer. Pongo has so much to offer an adult Amateur or teen rider with about 1-2 years experience. He would do great in the western show ring, as he listens to his rider and aims to please, and has a very consistent gait and smooth sitting trot. Pongo really is a one of a kind horse because of his size, color, talents, and willingness to please.
