Low quality screenshot of a high quality girl that someone is missing out on! Name: Sygourney (Siggy) Breed: RPSI Height: 15.2 Age: 14 (4/27/2008) Location: near Fort Worth, TX Pedigree: Sea Accounts x Grand Elegance (ZW) [x Grand Canyon] (read about Sea Accounts here: http://www.debracysporthorses.com/DeBra.../Sea_Accounts.html) "Sygourney" is the definition of cute, and don't let age fool you! She is a low mileage, sports car ready for someone to take out of the garage. "Siggy" has been at my barn since December after quite some time off for personal reasons of her current owner, and got right back into work with no questions asked. Pasture ornament to comfortably schooling 3rd level in about 60 days! She is sweet, easy to handle, easy to catch, loves attention, is very hearty and an easy keeper, and not mare-ish. "Siggy" has a very stocky build, and suits any build of rider- she fills up the leg of tall riders, but also suitable for shorter riders as well (as the rider in the video, I'm 5'9" for reference). Currently, "Siggy" is confidently working 2nd level, schooling 3rd, and with room to go up the levels. She did start her changes several years ago before her current owner bought her 4 years ago, and I have just begun to re-start them. In her younger years, she did do some jumping and enjoyed that as well, but she looks rather lovely in the dressage ring. "Siggy" has a trot you could sit for hours, and a canter worth enjoying all day long; she is soft in the bridle as well. At this time, she is not a packer or beginner/school horse as she does prefer a rider who is not overly strong in the hand without corresponding leg, but would be happy to help teach a willing and ambitious rider and go up the levels together. Essentially, she takes contact and gives a good feel, but needs to be allowed forward otherwise she will back off or not go, she is not dangerous. "Siggy" has a good motor and is a forward thinking mare, but will go on the slower side if asked. There is no reason she couldn't be a silver medal horse. She did have surgery her 3 year old year (2011) before being started under saddle to help relax her check ligament on the left fore to compensate for a minor club foot (think of carpal tunnel surgery for people), but has been sound barefoot and with no maintenance ever since, so it should not be of any concern. Barefoot, sound, no maintenance, no vices. Current owner is getting out of riding, so "Siggy" will come with her tack. PPE is welcome at the buyer's expense.
