Meet Quincy! This handsome gentleman (and he is the epitome of a gentleman) is an 11 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.1 hands who absolutely exudes class and sophistication. This sweet boy is kind, gentle, so much fun to ride, and one of the most honest horses I've ever met. He has a kind eye, a wonderful build, and is a lovely mover with a forward reaching shoulder and active pushing hind end. His natural willingness and workman like attitude make this horse a quick learner and a pleasant riding partner. He responds well to his rider's aids and is not a kick/spur ride. He has a fantastic "woah" and will easily come back to a halt from the walk, trot and canter. Currently schooling training level, this gorgeous boy will be ready to hit the show ring by Spring! And if the show ring isn't your speed, but the trails are (or if you like a mix of both) this guy has got you covered. My first time trail riding him, we went out alone and he was super happy to be exploring the woods! He is phenomenal in new places and walks off the trailer cool, calm and collected like he's been there a million times. He loads and travels like a pro. I can load and unload him myself without any help. He has wonderful ground manners, will stand still like a statue to be groomed and really loves cuddles. I've even let my 4 year old son lead him around, and he follows like an overgrown puppy dog. He is currently turned out with my other gelding, and he is the lower man on the totem pole. Despite his social nature, he is not at all buddy sour or barn sour when separated and taken out by himself. He wears front shoes only, is UTD on vaccines, has a negative Coggins, and is an easy keeper with no vices. Does great in new places, is a barn favorite with his sweet and gentle demeanor, and is an all around pleasure to have.
