Magic is beautiful, big, and kind with a gentle soul. He is FULL of personality, LOVES affection and is always in your pocket. He is the total package and can do absolutely everything! We have owned Magic for over a year, and he has completed every step of our training program. From basic groundwork to advanced training, Magic has excelled in everything we have asked of him. He has had extensive groundwork, including tons of desensitization, learning to respect your space, following you when asked, lunging both directions and facing you when called. Magic has a beautiful way of going and a smooth gait to ride all day. He will lope both leads on cue with a smooth transition in and out of a gait. Magic has had extensive training flexing and yielding to leg pressure making him very soft and supple. He has a lovely one-handed neck rein, side passes, and backs with ease. Magic is easy to ride and does NOT require an experienced rider. Magic will follow you out of the stall without a halter and will patiently stand without being tied for grooming and saddling. He will drop his head with pressure on his poll and takes the bridle gently. Although Magic is tall, don’t let his size discourage you. We have taught him to park out with the tap of his elbow, making him a few inches shorter for mounting or Magic will side pass up to anything you can find to stand on with the snap of your finger so you can easily step into the saddle. Magic will stand perfectly still giving you all the time you need to get on and get situated in the saddle. Magic is an honest, solid, experienced trail horse that the entire family can enjoy. Magic will go anywhere and through anything you ask. He is very sure footed, patient and will carefully ease through rough country without hesitation. He has experience bird hunting, field trialing and is excellent with gunfire on or off his back. Magic is great with roading dogs, carrying the flag, traffic, machinery, wildlife, bullwhips, water/mud, ponying other horses, and FIREWORKS! Magic will ground tie and drag anything you can rope. He can be ridden bareback and even BRIDLELESS! He is good with carrying your saddle bags, jackets, and gun scabbards. He can be ridden out alone or with large groups. If you need to leave the group, it’s no problem. Magic will turn away and willing leave the other horses if you ask him. Magic is good with time off and will be the same next time you ride. Magic is exceptionally gentle and patient with children. He really enjoys their attention and will let them love on him all day long. Magic is great with grooming, bathing, fly spray, touching his ears, hobbling, and picking up his feet. He gets along with other horses in the pasture and is easy to catch anywhere. He loads in the trailer without issue, stands tied patiently and will back out when asked. Magic is ready to fill YOUR heart with pure joy! We cannot wait to see the happiness he will bring you!
