Luke’s sire is Lord Ferragamo who is a full brother to Lord Leatherdale, sire to dressage superstar Glamourdale. At his licensing Lord Ferragamo scored best of all stallions for his temperament and character, and that's what we can find in his offspring. Rideable horses with a great mind and work ethic. Luke’s dam, Double Down is by show jumping stallion Chesapeake who competed at the World Cup in Los Vegas. Double Down competed successfully to 1.30m before a turnout injury ended her show career. She is an athletic mare who also not only carries the traits of having excellent character, temperament, and rideablity, she passes them to her offspring along with her TEN canter.
