Stetson is a very good mover/jumper! He is steady and very schooled. Also, He was broke western and worked with cattle, trail ridden, on the beach, was shot off of (he didn't like it but allowed it), and was ridden by the MC at a jousting show with thousands of people around the arena when he was 4 yrs old and was great! He is truly an all around fellow. sound, barefoot, no weird habits, loads and hauls easily, and easy to be around. He is very kind!
HIs training and focus is on hunters and Jumpers.
He competed at the OHSET State meet in May 2023 in hunter seat equitation and dressage. The rider was on him for 1 week before the competition as her mount was lame at the time. They finished in the high end of the middle after a rider cause mistake in both classes.
Stetson is just as comfortable in a western saddle. He has played with cattle, roping and trail riding.
He has been ridden by a gal who is 77 years old and my year old grand daughter! she laughed and giggled the whole time!
He wants to have a new friend. I have way too many horses and he is ready to go.
