This flashy 8 year old mustang is the real deal. Not only is Grey absolutely stunning, she has a wonderful personality & solid training to go with those amazing looks! Grey is nothing but a sweetheart while riding, grooming, working, or just enjoying being out on a relaxing trail ride. Nothing really bothers this good-natured gal, and she’s been put to the test with turkeys, dogs, tarps, plastic water bottles, walk-trot-lope with the flag, water crossings, atvs, and the drone!

Grey is straightforward and uncomplicated to ride. She was started correctly with professional training. She has easy gaits, soft and quick transitions, a great handle, and is soft in the bridle. She works so well off your legs and seat you can steer her around bridleless. She has more “whoa” than “go”. Grey is consistent, safe, and will give you the same ride, every time.

When you’re ready to hit the trail, Grey rides out calmly whether alone, or with a buddy, and loves seeing new country. Her ears perk up when we explore a new trail-it’s adorable. She has an amazing, quiet mind. She is truly so relaxed and a pleasure to be around.

Grey has been around cows, been shown in ranch versatility shows (ranch trail, ranch riding, ranch reining, & ranch pleasure). She has the training and is really fun if you have an interest in ranch trail or ranch riding. She’ll spin & trot off for you & walk right over bridges & around bushes without batting an eye. She has been hauled extensively, and loads, hauls and settles into off property situations very well.

Grey really shines outside. She has countless trail miles in the backcountry & has been horse camping. Kids and beginners have ridden her down the trail and in the arena and I’ve really valued knowing she will inspire confidence in her rider and give them a positive experience. If you are looking for a solid trail partner who was built the right way with miles on the trail, real exposure to the world, and plenty of wet saddle pads - this is your gal.

She is sound, sane, with no vices. Big boned, stout body, big strong joints, & those famously strong mustang feet. She is built to last. She is easy to talk & brag about. She's shown us the kind of horse people dream about does exist. She’s never had a lame step. Easy to keep. Goes well barefoot. She is kind and gentle and enjoys her scratches. She’s the first choice to put the kids, husband, or Grandma on. She’s not destructive and has no stall vices. Great to bathe, and will stand tied for hours.

She’s always the same when you pull her out. She’s brave and curious and sweet. She gets along well with other horses whether stabled side by side or in group turnout. We’ve found her to truly just be unflappable and a pleasure and honor to own.
