His Sire line includes The mare Tewie who descends from a successful mare line in Holland which produced Negro , sire of Olympic Valegro. And maternal Granddam Zuloma, ( Sandro Hit x Neurejev) from the famous dutch LOMA mare line produced the Belgium approved stallion Genius (known as Genie) by Zhivago. Olegro’s Pedigree, conformation, and Temperament (2) give the expectation of a competitive top performance horse. SIRE: OLYMPIC FERRO is a foundation sire whose influence is still felt long after his death in 2005 at age 18. He remains in 12th place in the World Breeding Federation for Dressage Sires ahead of numerous living sires. He was particularly valued for his exceptional temperament and outstanding use of the hind leg, with a brilliant attitude to his work that has been passed on to his offspring. As a three year old, Ferro was champion of his performance test at Ermelo. Ferro won team silver at the 1998 World Equestrian games, (where he finished individual 6 th ), the 1999 European Championships and the 2000 Olympic Games under Coby van Balen of the Netherlands. The pairs greatest achievement, among many, came when they placed second in the World Cup Final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch scoring over 80% for their freestyle. A score that was not common in that time. She had a presence that was undeniable with knee and hock action and powerful hindquarters to match. Keyloma was inspected and achieved top Alberta Canadian Warmblood Mare in 2019. Bred and raised for a performance horse it was devastating news when doing her 3 yr old baseline x rays that it was discovered she had a broken and severed sesamoid bone. She was then moved to the breeding shed to carry on the famous Dutch Loma breeding lines here in Canada alongside her Imported Dam Zuloma (Sandro Hit Neurejev) Her sire, Tolegro (Totilas x Krack C) was the first licensed son of the legendary Totilas. He was successfully presented at the 2013 Oldenburg stallion licensing in Vechta and successfully completed his 30 day Stallion Performance Test in Schlieckau in December 2014.
