Jack is a very beautiful 4 year old 16.2 hand gelding registered in the Friesian Heritage Horse and Sport Horse International registry. Talk about a gentle giant! Jack is the kindest most gentle and well trained horse. He has great training, collects up beautifully and has a one-step lope, stops, backs and side passes with cadence and ease. He is a beautiful mover and is quite handy for such a big guy. This horse is rock solid to ride out anywhere we ask. He is confidant and settled in every environment we have put him in from our busy urban streets to our rugged mountain trails. Jack handles it like it is just another day at the office. He is a horse one can feel safe and confidant on. He is beginner friendly to ride yet has the training for a more advanced rider. He is always an absolute gentleman. Out on the trails he will lead or follow, ride quietly in a larger group of horses as well, and will confidently go out on his own. Crosses the river, downed trees and navigates our steep rocky terrain very well. He rides bareback, double, backwards, can put a rider on him from the tractor. He is broke to drive single or double and has pulled the buggy. He has been ridden by an 8 year old girl thru town and out in the country. Hops right in the trailer, easy to shoe and loves a bath. This is an amazingly good natured and kind gelding. Gets along well with the other horses in the pasture, runs to the gate to greet us and loves people and loves attention.
