Merri is a 16 year old pony mare currently in foal to DHR Slick Chic 86 (dunalino stallion High Brow Hickory lineage). This will be her 3rd foal out of the same stallion. Foal should mature about 13hh, perfect quarter pony size for kids. Stallion has a wonderful athletic trainable temperament. I acquired Merri in foal four years ago and she has been an incredibly easy breeder. She’s only for sale because I need to downsize and remove the temptation of keeping this next awesome foal. First foal was a red dun tobiano, second foal was Dunalino tobiano. Color possibilities of the next foal: 50 % chance of tobiano, 100% chance dun, 50% chance cream (solid or tobiano dunalino, red dun, dunskin, bay dun, grullo, smoky grullo).

Merri is sound and has a beautiful forward trot. She is broke to ride and drive but has not been used in several years and my experiences with her are she is green and gets very nervous when she doesn’t know what to expect out of her handler. I suspect she was an Amish pony at one time in her life. She is a great broodmare, easy keeper, never foundered, and loves her job as a mother. She is up to date on all veterinary cares, farrier, rhino shots. Due to foal May 20th.
