Tuff is a 4 year old red and white crossbred gelding is the kind! Tuff is built to last all day long with some of the heaviest bone I’ve seen and a foot to match and he stands a solid 15.2 hands tall! He has all the color and markings to make him one striking dude and with pretty flaxen mane and tail to boot. Tuff lives up to his name he can work all day long and stay sound and happy doing it. He is great to handle on the ground, quiet in the ties and stands like a statue to be bathed, groomed and saddled. Tuff can wear a few hats and wear them well, he rides english/western and drives! Under saddle he is a nice pleasure ride type but will step up and move out if asked. He prefers to travel with a level head and neck but will also ride collected and soft in his chin. Tuff has a nice stop and will guide off rein and leg. He has three comfortable gaits, takes both leads as asked and travels very pretty around the pen and down the trail. He will trot over ground poles and take a cross rail. He has been exposed to a lot out on trail and will go through water, over fallen trees and up and down steep grades staying sure footed and quiet through it all. Tuff is a great trail blazer and he is happy to go out alone or in a group, he doesn’t mind horses up behind him or along side of him. Tuff is quiet to drive and will go out on the hard ride with traffic passing by or around the fields alike. He has the aptitude to make a phenomenal lesson or youth all around horse as well as a using horse or just a quiet and heavy made trail horse. Tuff sells sound without vices or limitations.
