“Squiggy” is a BEEN THERE-DONE THAT trail horse…he’s been on week long camping trips everywhere from the high sierras to the ocean. No issues crossing water, mud, traffic, logs, bridges, rough terrain (he handles the rough/steep trails like a 16 hand mountain goat, lol)! Since I’ve had him he’s never bucked, reared, or kicked. Has a great one handed neckrein/handle on him too (side passes, backs, spins, opens/closes gates with ease) takes both leads, great whoa. Never been buddy sour or herd bound, you can let him sit for months and he’s the same reliable mount. Will stand tied all day/at the bar, rides out alone or in a large group, he’s been both the trail boss/lead horse and drag rider. Good in pasture with other horses loads/hauls great. Always been sound. UTD on all health care, never coliced, super easy keeper. Located in Sun Valley about 25 miles north of Los Angeles. Video link You Tube: https://youtu.be/6ZfydUtXiyY Recent vet check/PPE revealed that he has some arthritis is his pasterns and should be used for light trail riding rather than arena work. With some maintenance, he could be sound/rideable for years to come. Price reduction reflects findings (was asking $20k when we thought he was 100% sound). Now asking $10k Many horses his age, and with his use have arthritis and issues….that’s why he’s so good and a such a super solid safe trail horse.
