This gorgeous 6 year old crossbred gelding stands a heavy made 16.2 hands tall has the substance and foot to go with it! Whitley is a Percheron X QH cross and has a really unique patch of silver running through his tail and a partial blue eye on the left side! Whitley is undeniably one the sweetest most friendly and affectionate horses I have ever met, he is the first to run up to and greet you with kisses, he loves being groomed and pampered and is an absolute gem to handle anywhere and everywhere. This fine young dude wears a couple hats from riding English or western to driving both single and double! Whitley is a saint under saddle he has never put a foot wrong for us from the arena to the road to the trails- he is quiet and safe and such a doll baby to get along with! Whitley has three gorgeous hairs and the most beautiful natural head carriage he really loves to travel level and like his nose out like a hunter or ranch horse should! Whitley takes both leads and has lovely transitions as well as an awesome stop. He will move off leg and responds to seat pressure too. Whitley will trot poles and is one of the coolest horses to jump literally a “point and shoot” kind of ride, he will jump cross rails to verticals with fill without thinking twice AND will jump natural logs and other like jumps out on the trail or in the field! Talk about an excellent show prospect this boy has the looks, the ability and above all the trainability- with his fantastic handle and eager to please brain he is undoubtedly going to make his next partner their dream come true ride. He has been ridden over tarps, bridges and other like obstacles- you can swing a rope and crack a whip off him too! Whitley is quiet to tack up in cross ties and will stand all day for a bath and to be clipped. He loads quietly into any style trailer and off loads like a gentleman in new places. He is not a horse who needs to be lunged or prepped just get on and enjoy your ride. He is the same horse wether you keep him stalled or live out 24/7. Whitley is a trail boss and will go anywhere you point him through water over deadfall on the road with cars passing, around machinery and dogs- he will ride in a group or out alone and is safe to ride up on behind and along side he will not offer to kick, bite or even pin an ear.
