Blythe is still growing in body and heart! She stands quietly when tied, comes in from the pasture when called, and stalls nicely. She yields hind and front quarters, lowers her head, picks up her feet, backs and other basic handling routines on voice command. She leads well and even free leads nicely on established routes in the pasture. Blythe is nervous in new situations and has been slow to trust me. She can be impatient when things don't meet her expectations. She enjoys practicing established skills. She halters well even though she remains resistant to having her ears handled. Blythe does well with deworming. She is 3/4 Standard and 1/4 Dutch and currently stands at close to 16 hands. She has been seen regularly by a farrier, chiropractor and vet. Coggins will be pulled this week.
