Handsome 10 mo black/white Tobiano Shetland/Mini colt for sale. Registered name is Steppin Out Midnight Serenade. Halter broken, ties, can pick up feet tied or untied, backs, leads pretty well both sides, friendly but a little shy...unless you have treats, completely weaned. I have his mother on site. His sire is Little Chaps Smokin Taxi, a show horse from Steppin Out Minis in CA where he was bred. Dam is Mulligans Run Music of the Night, a double registered Shetland broodmare. Vaccines, vet check and most recent hoof trim done in Feb, wormed March. Great for stud or geld. Great health, lovely colt, ready to start more advanced ground training. Don't have measuring stick so about 39" from what I can tell. No height guarantee provided as he is still under a year and has Shetland blood. If you are looking for a larger mini/smaller Shetland, he would be perfect. However, he will likely not qualify for permanent registration in the AMHR as he is already over the 38" limit. May be able to carry a small child on his back when he matures. He was untouched and unbroken in November when I got him and his dam. In just a few months, and not many hours of work, he has come a long way in his training. His dam has beautiful action, have not seen his sire move.
