If you’re looking for a once in a life time horse with grace, beauty and a loving temperament, then look no further. Meet ,Steel, a 2017 Grulla gelding who beautifully fills out his 14/1 height. He is 1/2 Quarter Horse and 1/2 Lusitano. Steel is registered with the Warmblood Society as well as a lifetime member with the United States Dressage Federation. He has that Iberian Warmblood neck, very smooth gaits and a QH easy to get along with personality. Steel can go western or english and is fine in a snaffle or bit less. Steel has had training including english dressage at the training level, has worked cows and obstacles, has been trail ridden on all types of terrain in CO. Not only is this guy beauty and brains but he has a heart of gold and loves to spend time with his human. He goes out of his way to please. His willing and laid-back personality makes him easy to handle and be around. He has three smooth, easy to ride gaits with a collected jog and a smooth lope. Steel is not a push to ride, is soft in the bride and responsive while being willing to please. He neck reins and responds to your seat and leg cues. Steel walks right onto the trailer and comes off with ease. He crosses any type of water, logs or any obstacle that’s stands in his path. We know that he will fit into any program and has the skill set to do nothing but excel. He is good to bathe, stands for the farrier, shots, etc. He has strong solid hooves and can go barefoot. Steel is a gem in the stall and gets along well in the pasture with other horses. He is light, responsive, smooth to ride, and very intelligent. If you are looking for that once in a lifetime smaller horse with a huge presence, look no further. He is for sale due to no fault of his own, the owners goals have changed. Steel passed a full PPE last June with all clean X-rays.
