Very kind sweet mare. She is still breeding sound, we no longer have a convenient way to AI in our area, and she has a short window for ovulation.
She is broke to ride and prefers trail riding, but has not been ridden in over 2 years as my back no longer tolerates her big movement. She has pretty much been a pasture pet.
She is super kind, loves people and easy to handle. The ranch is eating my time, and I am not spending enough time with her and she thrives on attention. She is the first one to the gate to see you. She does well in pasture or stalled. She does like to play in her water bucket though.
I would prefer she goes to someone with another Friesian or at the very least someone who will give her tons of their time.
She is currently in with her best buddy Friesian gelding, but he is 29 this year and I worry that she will grieve if we loose him. She isn't much interested in hanging with the 'regular' horses.
