Let me introduce "Clifford - The Big Red Horse". This gelding comes by his name honestly, I am sure he was a family dog in another life. He ADORES people, always wanting to please. Clifford is by far one of the nicest quality, downright enjoyable horses I have ever swung a leg over. There's good horses, there's great horses... then there's Clifford. He's in a league of his own. As sad as I am to have to pass the reins on, I can't help but have a smile on my face when I think about all that this horse has done for me. He's not "just a horse". He has rebuilt + given me confidence in the most unexpected ways, and never fails to turn a bad day into a great one. I know he will do that and so much more for his new owner, the kind of friendship this horse gives to those around him is the type they write books & make movies about. Comes with a notable resume too - he's been shown by kids in a wide variety of English + western classes, has been hauled to sortings and on tons of large trail rides and chuck wagon races. He is a SUPERB candidate for ranch riding/ranch trail classes! The exposure this guy has had is priceless, he stays quiet in every scenario! Clifford is a solid mount on the ranch too, proficient at all ranch chores & is the one that every one fights over when we show up at a branding. Everything is effortless with him, you'll find yourself frequently wanting to catch him to go for a ride! Clifford is BROKE, BROKE, BROKE. Rides around bridleless, lopes nice circles, fun stop & back up, lead departures, side pass, etc. But as broke as he is, he will putt around all day long for the rider that doesn't want to go fast or use those fancy buttons. He even has "turtle speed" for the little ones. Clifford is gifted at being able to instill + build confidence in the most timid riders and the ability to teach them what it's like to ride correct while he's at it. Everyone feels safe and secure on him. You can't beat the feeling of being able to be at total ease on the back of a horse. Been used to give lessons to all sorts of riders & is #1 when I have out of town guests who want to ride. Clifford is a gentleman on the ground; stands still to be groomed, saddled, bridled, mounted/dismounted, bathed, great for the farrier, loads/unloads and hauls like a dream. He's beyond easy to catch too - we joke and say if Clifford could halter himself & knock on the door so you'd come spend time with him, he would. The first one to greet you & will run across the pasture if he spots you. Follows the kids around like a puppy dog, watching after them carefully. Stands 15.3 hands & is built RIGHT. Lots of substance, good bone, & sizable feet. He's always been in the best hands and been meticulously taken care of. I have all of his vet records that will be sent with him. He's completely healthysane, sound and will be sold that way. We stand by this horse 100%! There are 58 million horses in the world.. but there is only one Clifford.
