Yogi is an 8-year-old 15.2 h APHA gelding. Same owner since he was a 2-year-old. This horses mind is a bit busy for current seller & she feels he has has more potential. This horse has been a go-to trail horse practically his whole life. Smooth gaited and easy to ride.
Yogi was ridden English for the video (cuz he's cute, come onn!!) He is gamey and I think could have a future over fences/obstacles. No issues. Can set for months and will ride off. Forward ride- no buck or spook. Still needs some support & focus out in a group. Yogi is definitely the class clown, can untie himself and show the others how much fun it is. Hobbles. Really quite independent- needs a leg on to leave a group.
Big ground eating walk. Needs a bit of micromanaging/fine tuning at speed- good transitions brakes. Great on the ground- not twitchy at all. Good to spray, catch, trailer, and farrier. New shoes! Sz1 all the way around. 1 blemish, never taken a lame step. Yogi will pass a vet check. UTD on all cares. Spring tuneup shown in video- he's ready to roll!
