This fun filly has a ton of potential! She’s flashy and she LOVES to run (sire is running bred AQHA). She is as sweet as can be - first to greet you at the fence, easy to catch, saddle and take places. She is learning to move her body to you to put the saddle on - pretty handy move. She wants to please. I’ve had her since she was a yearling. We’ve done extensive ground work with her. Check out some videos on Instagram under Painted_Sparrow_Equine. She’s been saddled and ridden a handful of times and is ready to get going in consistent saddle horse training. While she loves to run (and she’s fast) she could also be a great English pony as she is smooth, athletic and brave enough to jump. She has learned some tricks these past couple years. When searching for the answer she will sometimes give you a trick response so you need to be aware of that. I had her DNA tested and she came back QH, Hanoverian and mountain pleasure horse. She’s a liver bay in coloring but has a lot of golden hairs…could throw some pretty babies. I’ve been teaching her to move off light pressure and have encouraged her to respond to seat pressure. She’s been to pasture since January but now it’s time to get going on a job. She’d be a great horse for a youth/young rider to finish out as she’s easy to work with. She’s not stubborn and wants to take care of her rider. Just needs miles to build her confidence. She stands, loads, catches, halters, lunges, saddles, etc. easily. Easy keeper. Had had regular vet and farrier care since ownership.
