2015 Palomino AQHA Gelding. If you are looking for a BIG, PRETTY, and GENTLE gelding that the whole family can enjoy, Scottie is the one for you! He stands 15.2 hands and weight 1200 lbs. He has a super quiet and willing personality that makes him a joy to be around. His pedigree is the perfect cross of run and cow. He has been used extensively in the mountains for trail riding, packing and hunting. He is very sure footed and reliable in rough country. We’ve rode him everywhere from the mountains to the ranch and all over town. He will go all day with no quit. He’ll walk, trot, and lope on a loose rein, side pass, picks up the correct lead and has a good stop. He’s been used around cattle and is pretty cowy. He has been rode by many different levels of riders and he always takes care of his rider. Our six year old daughter has been riding him all winter and he has never given her any issues. He would make a great 4-H or youth horse. He’s easy to catch, great to shoe, clip and haul. He’s ready to make someone a heck of a partner!
