If you are looking for a horse who wants to be your best friend, I would like to introduce you to Tiberius or Ty as we call him for short. He is a beautifully marked, 7 year old, registered, Friesian Sport Horse gelding. He is sired by Wildshadows Darkaevan who goes back to Hessel, and out of a painted warmblood mare. This is a unique cross which has produced a stellar horse! Ty stands at 16.1hh and is put together perfectly. He has a long thick mane and tail and feathering on his legs. He’s jet black, with 4 white legs, and a bit of white on his neck and shoulder. If Ty was a human, he would be the life of the party and the guy everyone wants to know. If you walk out to the field and say his name, he comes running every time. If you pass his stall, he tilts his head sideways and pokes his little nose out to say hi. He just oozes personality. If you ask him to sit, bow or even lay down he’s happy to show off his tricks! He’s a total people pleaser. He has been trained with natural horsemanship methods. Ty is very well broke walk, trot, and canter. He knows his leads and has effortless transitions both up and down. He rides in a simple snaffle and will move off of seat and leg pressure. Ty has a very well balanced canter and holds his rhythm with little guidance from his rider. He will even swap his leads when asked. Ty is schooling basic dressage moves and shows great potential. He also jumps around inside and out in fantastic form. He will not shy away from the jumps and is very easy to find a distance on. He has been out on the back roads and ridden around some of Michigan’s beautiful hunt country. Brush, hills, water, dogs, traffic, wildlife, all no issue. Ty is also broke to drive and looks stunning pulling a carriage. This is the type that will be right there for you all day, every day and do everything in his power to please.
